2 years of the Nate

We're gonna attempt to take a picture of nate sitting on this chair every year for as long as we can. It'll be interesting to see how he grows and outgrows the chair his father bought from good ol' Ikea.

So at 2 years of age, nate's starting to talk, the physical growth is less obvious than that of the 1st year of his life. Now its all very subtle, he's taller, losing some of this baby fats, but all in all, he looks pretty much the same. However, he is trying to talk and its getting very entertaining especially when he accidentally says something wrong. It gives us a little window into what he's thinking about as well.... yes... he does think about stuff. Coupled with a lot of "nate language", the house is far from quiet but it's a welcomed noise. Apart from the talking, nate feeds himself and is a very clean eater, and he also doesn't mind brushing his teeth WITH toothpaste!

Some of the Nate vocab:

Bar-sss = Bus

Mama = Mommy

Dada = Daddy

Poong = Gong (grandfather)

Por Por = Poh Poh (Grandmother)

Ar = Car

Whaddi-dish = What is this?

Nam Naam = Jaam Jaam (cantonese for Lam Chuum which means bolster)

Eeesh = Please

Da = Vinn-U my brother

Pork = Fork

Oon = Spoon

Who hoo = Thomas (sound of thomas's whistle)

The list goes on but these are the more common words he uses. When we get the chance, we'll upload videos of him singing and talking, just for entertainment sake.
