end of the milky way

thank god.
i think i have served him well and honestly i could have gone on for as long i wanted too. In fact i had so much of it i had to buy an external chest freezer. No punn intended there but yeah, we're talking about breast milk here.

like i said before the experience is anything but glamorous and i never felt the "bond" of the kid looking into your eyes while you're nursing him... it was merely a motherly service. So the time had come for me to finally move on. Nate was nursed exculsively on breast milk for all the 9 and a half months of his life. Till the time came when i realised that he needed to move on to some other kinds of milk. Plus i was going away for 3 weeks for work. So i life has a way of telling you these things. When its time to move on, from work, to living, to wheening the baby off the breast. strange but true.
I went through it all. The pain, the leaks, the bleeding (yes- gross) and the tears. I've mentioned this before and i'll mention it again, all the time put together for expressing milk, yeah. i could have learnt 3 new languages. I'm so happy now that its over though. I sleep an extra hour every morning and go to bed earlier, i also dont have to sterilise pumps anymore! can you tell i'm so happy. NO more breast in the way of my Shooting and running! yay

The wheening the nate off the milk took a relatively easy trasition. He did go on hunger strike for a day though. But we're on 5th gear now and all is well. No allergies or serious problems. knock on wood. Thank God.
I did however have to go to the clinic for some pills which helps stop the lactation. Because i have so much milk (a real cow i tellya) i needed the extra dosage of 4 pills instead of 2.

Guess how much these pills cost me?
$84 bucks!
ouch.
so breast feeding is free in supply but you gotta pay to stop it!
ironic

**i do support breastfeeding despite all the complaints above**
i just complain alot
