Discovery

I was wondering what nate was doing.. walking towards the wall in our garden, and then slowly walking backwards for about 3meters, and then walking back towards the wall again... and he was repeating these steps (literally). I later realised that he had noticed his own shadow cast on the wall from the evening sun. There's something very satisfying from seeing your own child discover these little things in life (especially when they do it all by themselves) that we take for granted.
