Another accidental Zoo adventure
I'm not about to make this a habit but being a working mother, i had Nate in tow as i headed to cover the new Token Feeding for Giraffes which the Singapore zoo started recently. I had to take the Nate as I had to deposit him in Day Care immediately after and didn't have time to go home and pick him up again. Plus everyone was going out and no one could take care of him. SO i was lucky that circumstances allowed him to tag along. It's slightly easier because he can now stand without support and can understand the meaning of STAY HERE and DON'T MOVE please, and just gimme a minute while i WORK..? And the wonderful thing is, he does exactly that. Today he stood quietly away from the giraffes, in the corner and watched the tall, graceful creatures stick their tongues out as they receive food from visitors... when i think the head keeper Ram spotted him and asked if he wanted to feed the Giraffes. So when everyone was done and token feeding was over, Nate got his chance. Here are some happy snaps i got from yesterday for the keep sake. Assignment completed, nate happy, i happy.
