Nate had a very red and angry ulcer at the back of his throat a couple of days ago, causing him to wake up and cry and not eat for two days. The interesting thing is, now, he can actually gesture and tell me when some part of him is hurting. He kept pointing into his mouth so when i asked him to open wide and stick out his tongue, he did. And that's when i saw the bugger at the back of his throat. He understands me much better now as well. I can tell him to just drink the soup and he'll feel better, and he does just that. This communication thing is working out really nicely and I can't wait til we can have conversations about everything and anything.
