For the first time in months nate was not sick with the runny nose or cough and has been off the nebulizer for a good whole month now . knock on wood. ahem i mean thank god. So not being sick equated to being able to receive his scheduled immunisation jabs and rotavirus dosages. So on 21st June, 2007 and at 7 months and 2 days old, nate weighs 7.090kg and is 65cm long, with a clear set of lungs.

A few of the major milestones are showing up _ if that's the normal language of mothers and fathers, would be
Nate starting to display precaution to strangers, normally breaking into a panic attack when he realises someone he's never seen before is carrying him.
He has moved on from the gruff vocal styles of communication (some of you have heard my impersonations, and for the rest of you, i shall upload them soon. Just think Old man, grumbling) to actual baby gurgling.
Nate can finally sit up most of the time, without falling flat on his face, and getting stuck in that position (most of you have seen my version of nate falling flat on his face as well - the rest of you, TOO BAD)
Also its fun to watch him feed himself biscuits.
I see traits of him being possesive as well, cause No One is allowed to touch his food if he's eating it .
His top two teeth have come out; almost immediately after the bottom two, except that the left top tooth is out before the right, making him look like a dirty old man - just lacking the curly hair and that mole on his cheek.
Nate's menu has extended beyond the plain rice cereal, adding variety to both his palette capabilities as well as his pooping capabilities - no pictures here and trust me, you're not missing anything here.
All in all, it's been a good month sans medication and nebulizing. I've been pretty busy with work these couple of weeks, but we managed to sneak in a swim with nate. I am looking forward to spending a weekend at home, finally; resting, enjoying the baby until sunday comes and i am remninded of how much i love work, the concept of grandparents (yes grandparents who love him unconditionally, and are willing to go against their routine just for him and me) and infant care again.
