It's just one thing after another. We've been to the clinic every month and i thought i could really avoid this one but we couldn't. Not after Nate started to gag and his eyeballs started pertruding from trying to cough out his own phlegm ( i can never spell this word right for the life of me but i dont really care). If there was a loyalty card available at the clinic, I'd be honarary member with all my stamps filled up so i get a free consult. Tried asking them and they laughed. I'm glad they share my sense of humour. He coughs till he cries cause he can't spit yet or clear his own throat. And breathing is becoming very tiring for him. Poor baby. I bought Nate an inflatable pool (actually a bathtub but its like a mini sit in pool) but i don't think we're well enough to use it yet. Kids at this age should be smiling and healthy. In fact, they should be strong and sturdy and disease free. What's the point of breast milk. I really dunno. So yes. He coughs like a little old man now, sighing at the end. (actually its pretty funny) and i've mastered the art of cupping his puke but my hands are not big enough cause he normally throws out everything with the phelgm. Catching puke is an art. Don't try it unless you have prior training.

I have no idea how he caught this bug (some kind of lung infection) but all i know is that he was sick a couple of weeks ago. (maybe its infant care - and even if it is, i'm prepared so it doesn't matter) Thought it went away but i guess i thought wrong. Now the problem is in his lungs so we're waiting for a mucus swab test results and in the mean time i've had to rent a nabulizer so that i can aid his breathing until this Saturday. If he gets better, Great. If not i we have been advised to admit him into hospital where they can give him ANOTHER dose of anti-biotics the introvinus way (again i dont care about the spelling - as long as i get the point across).
Poor baby started screaming when i nabulized him. And like dr terence tan (yes my hubby has the same name) said. Its just the sound of the vaporiser that is bad not the vapouriser itself. I think nate is starting to realise that cause he sleeps while i vaporize him now. Ha Ha Vaporize Him! Sounds like some bad B-grade sci-fi movie. I mean Nabulize him. (like i said, whats the difference- you get my point).
So for now its:Morning:
> Rhinathiol 2% to feed 1ml
> Zyrtec to feed 1ml
> Augmentin to feed 2ml
> Nabulize with 0.4ml of Ventolin and Atrovent and one dosage of Pulmicort
Afternoon:
> Rhinathiol 2% to feed 1ml
> Nabulize with 0.4ml of Ventolin and Atrovent and one dosage of Pulmicort
Night:
> Rhinathiol 2% to feed 1ml
> Zyrtec to feed 1ml
> Augmentin to feed 2ml
> Nabulize with 0.4ml of Ventolin and Atrovent and one dosage of Pulmicort
This goes on til Saturday where we shall see if Nate gets better.
or else, its needles and more needles which means crying and more crying.
So.
Till Saturday.
