Nate Turned 1

It all happened too fast but i Thank God for taking care of us, especially Nate this whole year. As i'm sure every parent would agree, a year flies by without any warning when you are bringing up a baby. It's scary to think that this time last year, i was still in a blur, just given birth and anxious about everything! And now i'm happy to say that nate's still in one solid piece and though he might be a little bit backward in terms of walking and standing, he's turned out pretty ok. I've managed to teach him a few tricks where i go "Oh NO! I'm So STRESS!" and he'll put both his hands on his head with a look of distress. (the kind of world we live in... i'm just preparing him for it.) and when i ask him how a lion roars, he'll open his mouth wide and then feel really embarrassed about it after. He's turning out to be a pretty cool kid. The temper is still wild but he still has a very strong sense of humour and is very musical. He'll dance and rock his body to whatever rythym he hears. oliver and nate

We celebrated his first birthday amidst the start of the 13th ASEAN Summit at the COLBAR at Portsdown road. The ambience was great, we had whistling sparklers, good beers, good food, a smashing time with the cake (literally- when nate stuck his hand into it) and of course wonderful company of friends and family. Maybe celebrating his birthday amidst the summit wasn't such a bad thing as we had our fellow photographers whom we know from a long time ago join us as well.

It was nice to see Baby Clare and Joan and Terence as well finally after many years and yes Clare is super duper cute walking around in her pretty little dress. Nate would never look as pretty in that dress - he ended up dressed down to just his diaper at the end of the day because he was feeling very hot.

Once again, Thank You all for coming, those of you that did. And i know i'm a little delayed in posting this but i've only just been released from work responsibilities and in fact managed to spend some time with the Nate opening his presents a whole week later.

We are truly blessed and I will always remember the love and support that i've received from my family and husband this entire year.
